Iraq’s Liberation; America’s Invasion

October 11, 2006 § 2 Comments

Research has discovered that there have been over 650, 000 Iraqi civilian deaths since the United States of America invaded Iraq in 2003 as reported on al-Jazeera,

“We estimate that as of July 2006, there have been 654, 965… excess Iraqi deaths as a consequence of the war, which corresponds to 2.5% of the population in the study area.” (Aljazeera.net)

But this should have been expected, history has a tendency to repeat itself which is why the people all over the world do not trust the US Government. In one of my more passionate responses to a reader I wrote,

“This is typical of the Western governments which is why they have bumbled their way into ownership of historical records such as the “highest number of human casualties” in history. This War is not about anything other than “Rich White Men” protecting the interests of “Rich White Men”, which is not unlike others.” (H. Abdullah, Wa Salaam)

And I stand by this statement.

  • ldspatriot says:

What have the Muslim countries done to help Iraqis? America is a far better friend to Iraqis than any Muslim dominated country in the world.

  • Abu Sahajj says:

“What have the Muslim countries done to help Iraqis? America is a far better friend to Iraqis than any Muslim dominated country in the world.”

This is a loaded question… if Syrian forces for instance went into Iraq and began establishing local security forces and food programs… the Western media would turn that into a bigger fiasco than it already is! Picture that!
