Aziz and The Carnival of Brass
September 22, 2006 § 1 Comment
The Carnival of Brass is a “dynamic” carnival hosted by Aziz of City of Brass, it has been up and running for over two weeks now. The City of Brass is the pioneer of Muslim blogs, and it is not surprising that a development such as this is the brain child of Aziz. I was recommended to study a few successful blogs prior to starting my own and The City of Brass was one of them. I would like to give you an idea of the carnival’s mission, however this is best illustrated by Aziz when he writes,
“The purpose of these feeds is to allow the muslim blog community to collaboratively promote content, both from within our own circle (the Carnival) and the wider blogsphere/mass media (Brassfeed).” (A. Poonawalla, The City of Brass)
The Carnival of Brass is simply a brilliant idea. Please take notice that it is featured on the right side-bar of this page. I am pleased to support this project by submitting my finest work in anticipation of its acceptance. I am equally pleased to see that this fantastic idea works in conjunction with “static” carnivals such as “The Carnival of Islam in the West” to gain an even wider range of readers.
