Bin Laden May Not Be A Muslim After All

September 17, 2006 § 3 Comments

I find it hilarious that so many of my fellow-countrymen have so much to say about Islam and Arab culture yet don’t know anything about it. Recently, I stumbled upon an article from the National Review which warns of a Ramadan attack by Al-Qaeda. Yes… I said a Ramadan attack by Al-Qaeda!

“On certain corners of the blogosphere, there’s concern over a report that al-Qaeda may be readying an attack to coincide with Ramadan 2006.” (TKS, National Review)

This horseshit is actually great news for Muslims because it means that if Al-Qaeda does attack, they are not Muslims at all! As an attack during Ramadan would be an egregious act against the religion of Islam. My guess is that if this did occur we Muslims would be off the hook and the Muslim-haters and Islamophobes would have to find a new identity for their bogeyman, Osama. Maybe “neoconservative sufi sheikh” would be a good label for the accused.

I agree – just as the Crusaders were not real Christians – so too, Osama is not a real Muslim.

The failing Roman Empire observed the spread of a new belief system – Christianity – and devised a plan for reestablishing their failing empire utilizing the Christian religion. They sanitized and corrupted Jesus’ message to fit their purpose and used the new bastardized version of Christianity to recreate the Roman Empire.

The ruse was not discovered until Martin Luther became a Catholic priest and actually read the Bible (something that most people in the Middle Ages were forbidden to do). Martin Luther had the courage and fortitude to expose the ruse of Constantine and the ensuing Popes. With the corruption of the Church exposed, people left the Roman church and returned to the teachings of Jesus.

Osama and others who claim to be Muslims are now doing the same thing with Islam. Their goal is not the spread of Islam, but the establishment of an Arab empire which they will rule.

Thirteen hundred years passed before the perversion of Constantine was exposed by Martin Luther. I hope it will not take that long to expose Osama.

From one emancipated Christian to you – my brother – May God bless you indeed.

  • That’s a distorted picture of Christian history you have painted, but it still is a good thing that Martin Luther read the Bible. In it he could see that Jesus never killed, nor attacked, nor ordered anyone to attack, never tortured or ordered torture, never harmed, never enslaved but came to set free, never assassinated or ordered assassination but healed and even raised the dead.

The Sirat Rasul Allah — ancient and revered Muslim source — shows Mohammed enslaving, sending assassins, ordering torture to secure treasure from those he had conquered. This is not non-Muslims criticizing Mohammed, this is Mohammed’s followers praising his victories in which he killed and enslaved and sent assassins and ordered torture; they considered this great and praiseworthy, and summarized his life by recounting his battles and raids.

But before God, ask yourself who is greater: the one who kills or the one who heals? The one who sends a blind man as an assassin or the one who heals the blind man? Before God I tell you that whoever says “the one who kills is greater than the one who heals” has testified against himself.

Weekend Fisher, your position is understandable however erroneous. The first thing I would like to do is quote the Qur’an so that I can clear the air of any debate you think you might inspire by making claims against our Prophet (s.a.w.s.)and then pitting him against Isa ibn Marayam (a.s.). The Qur’an teaches us to say the following to people like you,

“We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma’il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam).” (3:84)

As for your “ancient and revered Muslim source” I know of the book… and the translation you speak of… you are comparing an actual biography of the Prophet to what of Jesus? You should choose your battles more intelligently… especially when making such a case… comparisons should be made in context otherwise they are skewed and uninterpretable, at least scientifically speaking, which is more or less what I am interested in. But I thank you for your passionate comment.
