- Abul Layth: SeekingIlm.com was created for the sole purpose of seeking Allah’s pleasure by fulfilling a ‘forgotten’ obligation, seeking spiritual knowledge. The path to seeking the spiritual knowledge of Islam is called “At-Tasawwuf” or sometimes called Sufism (mysticism). Unfortunately, Tasawwuf has been scarred by the actions of some claimaint Sufis, of the past and present. To know […]
- Abu Muhammad: Here I am preparing myself to play my part a little early when still a decennium is left. At this point in my life If I am assured one blessing by the Lord, I’ll ask for a little more pellucidity – the uncloudedness so that I can understand the complexities around me – the lucidity so that I may empower my ’self’ to stick with the ‘ultimate ego’. While moving towards the terminus I long to give lyrics to my percept and let my pen free…

- Umm Layth: The intent of this site is to offer encouragement to each other, as Muslim women, to better ourselves internally & externally, making Allah the goal of our entire lives. It is as Labid, the famous arab poet that our Beloved Messenger, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) quoted, said: ‘Everything, save Allah, is batil (null)!’ There are many things to come, with Allah’s Help. Stay tuned! Suggestions are always welcomed!

Asalamu alaykum,
I like this concept of “the ummah” for a page with links to other blogs. I have been thinking of doing one on my site but haven’t been able to come up with a good name. I was thinking of “Iqra” but I hope you wouldn’t mind if I also used “the ummah”.
Certainly, that was very noble of you to ask but I have no ownership of the idea.
wasalaam
Im going to start one as well, to differenciate My Islamic links from others. Great Idea…Oh and I love your site!

For example, if you have signed up for a Google account and have a personalized homepage, you can click on “Add stuff -> Add by url -> http://www.islamwire.com/widg/ayah.xml “. An example (albeit, in black) is located at http://www.islamwire.com/info/ . Enjoy!
PS: Forgive me Br. Hakim if this is off-topic.
As’salaam u’Alykum wa’ Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu dear brother Hakim:

Thank you for your efforts!
Islam is great with untold benefits
Love your Blog
Combine Tazkiyah and Fiqh.

Sorry, I’ve moved again. Does my blog still count as a Muslim voice from the West? If yes, then I would hug you a billion times if you hurled my blog’s new URL onto your Islam-West feed…
http://israfil.wordpress.com/
Wasalaam
Yakoub
BismillaharRahmanirRahim
as-salaamu ‘alaikum, how are you? You asked,
What are you really asking? Is there any reason your blog would not count as a “Muslim voice from the West”?
***Is there any reason your blog would not count as a “Muslim voice from the West”?***
It’s just some people count the part of England I live in as the Third World
BismillaharRahmanirRahim
as-salaamu ‘alaikum Julaybib, some people count Islam as a Religion of the Third World. But that doesn’t stop us from staying on al-Haqq, does it…
So, uhum, I was hoping – if it isn’t too much like self-promotion – whether you couldn’t perhaps put http://israfil.wordpress.com/ on the feed *”islam-west” via Hakim in Google Reader* – thanks
Assalamu Alaikum,
I have changed the my blog name from http://ahlesunnahuprising.wordpress.com/ to http://yasayyidi.wordpress.com/. I would be glad if you could change it on your list.
PS: you can delete this bit. I think one of my mates was messing around the other day. I had to go answer the phone and told him to check the post for spelling mistakes and click on “submit comment”, but I think he might have added some extra things at the end. If he did, then I apologise.
It was nice to run across this blog, AlhamduAllah.
