Recently, U.S. officials report Iran ending nuclear arms work saying,
“A new assessment by American intelligence agencies concludes that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 and that the program remains on hold, contradicting a previous intelligence report.” (M. Mazzetti, NYTimes)

Breaking News: MTA to Keep Base Fare at $2

This just in, Governor Eliot Spitzer calls for the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) to keep its base fare at $2.
“Gov. Eliot Spitzer today directed the transit system to scale back its proposed subway and bus fare increase and keep the basic single-ride fare unchanged.” (New York Times)
