Sadly, our mainstream media is only interested in broadcasting the hateful incantations of hateful men. The faithful of Islam and Christianity have so much in common, and yet are popularly defined more and more by the evil men among them. I wish I knew how to bridge that gap. You are right, I am interested in that fact. What is interesting about that is when we received our shaykh from the airport yesterday one of the first things that the shaykh’s deputy did was to inform him that the Christians are spending this week in remembrance of the Prophet ‘Isa ibn Maryam (may Peace be upon him) or Jesus Christ.
