"I mean the moon causes changes on earth, that’s its power/force, whatever you’d want to call it."
I understand... and I understood what you meant the first time. However, it was important for me to clarify the Islamic perspective on the subject of "power" for the non-Muslim readers of this blog.

"The moon IS powerful."

Actually, the Moon is NOT powerful... from an Islamic perspective there are no possessors of power save God as decreed in this passage of the Qur'an,

"Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!" (7:54)

and also when I meant when I wrote wrote,

"What power does the Moon have? None, its nothing more than a large object ‘in the right place at the right time’."

in this article.

The moon IS powerful. It rules tides, for example. And it has so much power over water, imagine the power it has over us humans, who are 70% water.

"Beautiful insight."
Alhamdulillah, I'm just thankful for being able to reflect on my life. Some people are so wrapped up in their lives that they cannot see past the struggle. I found that there will always be struggle... always.
