Asalaamu alaikum,
I would like to thank everyone for visiting “Wa Salaam”. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to serve my community in this way. I just pray that “Wa Salaam” is a resource that the community Muslim or non-Muslim find necessary and helpful in these troubling times.
With that said I would like to announce that from now on I will be using a traditional kunya as my name and title. A kunya is an honorary name given to a Mother or Father, which is typically Abu (father) or Umm (Mother) and the name of the first born Son. I offer my apologies if this is an inconvenience or makes things confusing however given time everyone will get use to it, inshaallah.
